The site plan of Cardiff Council's proposals is shown below. It is clear from the site plan that Cardiff Council propose to claim most of the site of the Maindy Cycle Track site  and in the process destroy one of Cathays most important and historic sporting facilities and open spaces. This is unacceptable destruction of an important and historic sports facility on the part of Cardiff Council.

The statutory notice is live from 29 June 2021 and allows a period of 28 days for formal objections to the proposals up to an including 26 July 2021

 

Objections should be sent to the Director of Education and Lifelong Learning, Cardiff Council, County Hall, Atlantic Wharf, Cardiff CF10 4UW.
